Saurabh brings with him two decades of experience across multiple segments in the investment banking space. Prior to joining Maybank, he worked with some of the world's leading banking organisations including HSBC and Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he was responsible for origination and execution of investment banking transactions in Southeast Asia.

He has advised multiple clients across ASEAN on transactions aggregating over USD40 billion across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buy-outs and capital raising from the equity and debt markets. He played a pivotal role in securing some of the largest regional transactions undertaken by Maybank IBG including Sunway Healthcare's capital raise from GIC, Mr DIY's initial public offering and the sale of Shakey's Philippines.

Saurabh is also a regular speaker at various industry conferences. He is a recreational pilot and an amateur wildlife photographer, and was recognised as one of the Top 10 Indian Leaders in Asia (2022) by CEO Insights Asia.

He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, a Bachelor's degree in technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and is also an executive programme graduate from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
