A Maybank scholar, Yasin has more than 21 years of experience in the corporate and financial industry, more than 12 years were spent in the capacity as CFO.

Yasin is a Chartered Banker (CB) of Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). He graduated from the International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM) with a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) and an MBA in Finance.
