Shipping Guarantee-i / Endorsement Transport Document-I (SG-I / ETD-i)

An indemnity given by the buyer, countersigned by MIB, to a shipping company or its agent to allow the shipping company to release the merchandise to the consignee name in the Bill of Lading.

Export Credit Refinancing-i (ECR-i) Pre-shipment a short term financing to direct/indirect exporters to promote export of manufactured products, agriculture products and primary commodities with funding from EXIM Bank.

Transferable LC-i

A letter of credit allows the first beneficiary of the letter of credit (LC) to transfer either partial or full of the credit, available to another party (second beneficiary), subject to the approval of the issuing bank.

Confirmed LC-i

A confirmation added by Maybank Islamic Berhad to the letter of credit (LC) received by the exporter/beneficiary. By adding the confirmation to the LC, the bank undertake to honour or negotiate the drafts drawn under the LC (without recourse to customer) upon presentation of compliant documents against the LC terms by the customer.
