Tabung Maybank Sejahtera is a special fund set up by Maybank this Ramadhan season in support of the Sejahtera programme initiated by Khazanah Nasional Berhad. This campaign, also in partnership with the New Straits Times Press, aims to raise funds to assist in the creation of sustainable living environments for vulnerable communities in Malaysia regardless of race, religion or creed.
Sejahtera is a programme developed under the auspices of the Putrajaya Committee of High Performance GLCs and the Silver Book, which was created to champion a sustainable approach to alleviate hardcore poverty in Malaysia.
Members of the public who wish to support this cause can make donations via the Bank's various delivery channels such as self-service terminals and Maybank2u.com.

Cheques should be made payable to "Tabung Maybank Sejahtera". The fund raising campaign will run from 13 August - 20 September 2009.
The amount raised will be channeled to Yayasan Sejahtera administered by Khazanah Nasional Berhad for its Sejahtera programme to help poor families nationwide, as well as the disabled, single parents, the aged and orphans.
