03 March 2022 - Maybank Home2u – Digital Home Financing Solution Maybank launched Maybank Home2u on its MAE app. Maybank Home2u is Malaysia’s first-ever digital home financing solutions within an integrated banking app, and is capable of providing approval 10 seconds within completion of application.
15 March 2022 - Maybank Personal Digital Financing Solution The new Maybank Personal Digital Financing offers a fast, hassle-free and fully digital experience from point of application to disbursement for customers requiring a quick injection of cash, and is available on Maybank2U web and MAE app.
17 May 2022 - Maybank Contactless ATM Cash Withdrawal Service Maybank introduced the first ever contactless ATM cash withdrawal service in Malaysia, aimed at providing convenience to more than 12 million Maybank ATM cardholders. To withdraw money contactless, customers only need to scan a QR code on their MAE app at selected Maybank ATMs nationwide.
12 December 2022 - Maybank New Eco-friendly Credit Cards As part of our strategy to manage our environmental footprint within our supply chain, our new Ikhwan cards are now made with 84% bio-sourced and renewable materials. These eco- friendly cards which are plant-based and bio-degradable in nature, helps avoid harmful plastic waste as it is non-petroleum-based and non-toxic. This is in line with the Group’s efforts to develop sustainability-focused products and services that help advance sustainability and drive change for a better world.

Sustainable Financing: Group GB has provided RM8.2 billion in sustainable financing (excluding AUM) as at 1HFY22, out of RM10.3 billion on a bank wide basis, in support of the Group’s RM50 billion sustainable financing commitment by 2050. Among notable sustainable financings provided are TNB Power Generation Sdn Bhd’s RM1.5 billion Sustainability Sukuk to fund Nenggiri hydroelectric power plant project, first Sustainability Sukuk offering by TNB Group of Companies, marking a “First” for the power and utility industry in Malaysia; and MBSB’s Sustainability Sukuk Wakalah programme of up to RM5.0 billion in nominal value, the world’s first dedicated Sustainability Sukuk issuance platform by an Islamic Bank.
Investment Management: Maybank Asset Management Group (MAMG) continues to leverage on its expertise and global investment capabilities through introduction of two (2) Shariah retirement funds in February 2022 namely Maybank Global Wealth Moderate-I Fund and Maybank Global Wealth Growth-I Fund; and one (1) ESG fund named MAMG Global Environment Fund, in August 2022.
Flagship Conference: Maybank Investment hosted its flagship conference, Invest ASEAN 2022, on 8 to 9 June 2022, in six (6) ASEAN cities – Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila and Ho Chi Minh City. The first hybrid event themed “ASEAN | Framing A Future” which attracted over 2,500 participants, saw the inaugural launch of “ESG Conversations” featuring industry heavyweights sharing their insights on ASEAN’s low carbon economy.
Thought Leadership: GB Senior Leaders were featured in various conferences and forums as panelists/speakers. Some of the features in September 2022 were Dato’ Muzaffar Hisham, Group CEO, Global Banking at the Malaysian Banking Conference 2022; En Md Farid Kairi, Managing Director, Global Markets & Transaction Banking at Singapore’s BAFT 2022 Bank to Bank Forum; and Mr Mario Utama, Global Head – Trade at Singapore’s Global Trade Review 2022. In December, Dato’ Muzaffar was invited as a returning panelist to the Financial Time’s Global Banking Summit in London, to speak among other leaders in global banking, fintechs, regulators and policy makers.
Digital Innovation: Group GB aims to further elevate CX through digital innovation in line with its M25 client-centric digital initiatives. In August 2022, Maybank Securities (Thailand) Plc launched the Maybank Invest application (“app”), a tool that enables customers to complete investments in various financial products in a single application. It offers stocks, funds, debentures, and more, both locally and from overseas. Artificial intelligence (AI) is also applied to customer data, to enable investors to align their portfolios properly and choose investment products which meet their needs in the most efficient way.
Maybank Asset Management Group (Malaysia)
Maybank Asset Management launched its first Shariah-compliant Flexible Retirement Solution On 15 February 2022, Maybank Asset Management Sdn Bhd (“MAM Malaysia”) launched the Maybank Flexible Retirement Solution, a retirement solution that aims to supplement one’s retirement planning. The solution comprises of two new global Shariah-compliant funds and for the first time, investors can choose between two Shariah-compliant mixed asset funds consisting of Maybank Global Wealth Moderate-I Fund and Maybank Global Wealth Growth-I Fund tailored for their retirement planning.
The solution provide investors unparalleled access to a diversified portfolio of Shariah-compliant global assets. The funds aim to achieve capital growth over the medium to long term, with a target return of 6% to 8% per annum. It incorporates dynamic asset allocation and downside risk management, which is primary in assuring stability for investors when saving for retirement in the medium to long term. Furthermore, in applying Shariah-filters to the investment process, the funds are able to capture better quality assets.
As at 31 December 2022, the combined AUM for both funds have exceeded RM266 million. The Maybank Flexible Retirement Solution is available at Maybank branches nationwide and via Maybank2u.
Maybank Asset Management strengthens its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) offerings with the launch of MAMG Global Environment Fund On 22 August 2022, Maybank Asset Management Sdn Bhd ("MAM Malaysia") expanded its ESG product offerings with the launch of the MAMG Global Environment Fund ("the Fund"), a certified Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) fund as defined by the Sustainable and Responsible Investment Funds Guidelines.
The MAMG Global Environment Fund is a sustainable thematic feeder fund from Maybank Asset Management that invests in BNP Paribas Global Environment Fund (“Target Fund”), a Luxembourg-domiciled global equity fund that invests in companies that are active in the environmental sector and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals which focuses on new energy, sustainable food, water, circular economy, smart environment, clean and efficient transport.
The Fund has raised more than RM2.87 million as of 31 December 2022. The Fund is available at MAM Malaysia’s authorised distributors including Maybank branches nationwide or via Maybank2u.
The Edge ESG Awards 2022 On 28th November 2022, two of MAM Malaysia funds won two awards at The Edge Malaysia inaugural ESG Awards 2022: Gold Award in Best Low Carbon for Maybank Global Sustainable Technology Fund and Silver Award in Best Impact Basic Needs for Maybank Global Sustainable Equity-I Fund.
The awards are to honour Malaysia’s best performers in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) across various industries and sectors. Ahmed Muzni, Chief Executive Officer of Maybank Asset Management Sdn Bhd and Syhiful Zamri, Chief Investment Officer of Maybank Asset Management Sdn Bhd represented MAM Malaysia to receive the awards.
Etiqa
On 3 June 2022, Etiqa launched the ‘All Risk – Byke’ bicycle insurance at L’Etape Malaysia race event, Desaru, Johor Bahru in conjunction with the ‘World Bicycle Day’. The product is specially made to protect cyclists’ equipment from theft, accidental damages and loss up to RM60,000 and will be make available via YAS Malaysia’s website and mobile application.
With All Risk – Byke, cyclists’ bicycles and parts with a maximum age of 7 years can get protection from any risk of theft, accidental damages and loss for their bicycle and its parts with premiums as low as RM65.
On 12 July 2022, Etiqa launched 2 life insurance/family takaful products providing protection for Employee Provident Fund’s (EPF) members namely ‘Etiqa Term Secure’ and ‘Etiqa Critical Care’ under the EPF i-Lindung initiative. Both products are available as either insurance or takaful via the EPF member website.
These products aim to provide more EPF members, especially those in the B40 community, with insurance or takaful coverage as the premiums or contributions are deducted directly from their Account 2 funds.
On 28 September 2022, Etiqa General Insurance Berhad and the Malaysian Institute of Property and Facility Managers (MIPFM) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance for members of MIPFM and the Property Management Firms well as the Fire and Miscellaneous Classes.
The Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents, and Property Managers (BOVAEP) Malaysia requires all registered property management firms to have a minimum of RM500,000 PI coverage before renewing their annual licenses.

The Global Connect Forum – Maybank Islamic partnered with IslamicMarkets and launched its inaugural global thought leadership conference virtually from 21 -23 March 2022 to enable a global platform and collaboration on the integration of sustainability and Islamic finance within the Halal economy. Themed “Driving Sustainable Impact Through Islamic Finance”, the forum showcased ground breaking ideas, insights and key actionable steps from industry leaders with regards to unlocking opportunities for businesses, financial institutions, professionals and other stakeholders in the Halal economy and the Islamic finance industry.
Invest Asean 2022– Maybank Business Sustainability Series: Shaping a Green Islamic Capital Market - Maybank Islamic organised a Panel Session: “Shaping a Green Islamic Capital Market (Opportunities & Trends)” in conjunction with Invest ASEAN 2022: Maybank Business Sustainability Series on 24 August 2022. The forum aims to generate an active discourse on the work required to strengthen the Islamic Finance’s global leadership position in the Green Islamic Capital Market. The virtual event saw panellists presented their regional and global market perspectives on the theme, incorporating current industry trends and market landscapes.
Halal Route to Market Programme 2.0 (HalMap) - Maybank Islamic continues its flagship Halal Route Market Programme which not only provides financing for SMEs, but also assist them in conducting business matching, product development advisory, halal certification assistance, consultancy and marketing of halal products locally and abroad. The bank launched Halmap 2.0 on 26 September 2022, a collaboration with ELOKAL, an eCommerce specialist that provides end-to-end solutions for the SMEs to market their products and services locally in both physical stores and e-commerce sites. In this programme, ELOKAL is responsible for the delivery of the products to retail stores, all marketing and promotional activities and also product pitching to retailers.
Ikhwan Eco Credit Cards (tentative launch Q4) – Maybank Islamic launched its refreshed Ikhwan Eco Credit Cards for Visa and Mastercard Ikhwan which features the use of environmentally-friendly bio sourced materials cards. The bank is committed to promote eco and socially-responsible spending by rewarding its customers with special discounts, points and incentives when they use their cards for sustainable purchases at selected merchants.
AGTC Campaign – Maybank Islamic spearheads the Add-Good-To-Cart campaign for the public to invest in the common good. The AGTC campaign raises awareness inspires the public to donate to Mercy’s Emergency Fund. The fund collected will be utilised for emergency response, recovery, mitigation and preparedness in times of disaster for humanitarian and health-related development and for community capacity building, aligned with Maybank’s M25 sustainability goals.

Maybank Indonesia Hands Over Houses & Community Center to Earthquake Survivors in Central Sulawesi In January, through its Corporate Social Responsibility program in joint partnership with Habitat for Humanity Indonesia foundation, Maybank Indonesia held an online handover ceremony of houses and a community centre for victims of Central Sulawesi's earthquake. The housing assistance consisted of ten permanent homes and a community centre for the earthquake survivors in Jono Oge village, Central Sulawesi, the most affected area. The earthquake occurred in 2018 with a 7.4 Richter scale, followed by a tsunami and land liquefaction.
Virtual RISE (Reach Independence and Sustainable Entrepreneurship) 2.0 Program for Persons with Different Abilities Maybank Indonesia and Maybank Foundation with People System Consultancy continued to hold RISE 2.0 training through digital platforms. Between January to September of 2022, thousands of people from marginalized and disabled communities in Java, Sumatra, and Kalimantan participated in it. The training has two levels of competence: basic and standard level. Basic level was attended by 1,617 participants and Standard level was attended by 1,290 participants.
Maybank Women Eco-Weavers Promotes Creation of Underprivileged Women Weavers in Indonesia Maybank Indonesia and Maybank Foundation reaffirmed the commitment to empower underprivileged women through the Maybank Women Eco Weavers program to commemorate international women's day. The program supported women's economic independence by preserving weaving that has been around for generations and benefiting the weavers. In April, Maybank Indonesia participated in the Indonesia Fashion Week 2022 in Jakarta and showcased Maybank Eco-Weavers' woven works and promoted natural dyes used in weaving as an attractive innovation for the younger generation in Indonesia.
Maybank Marathon Bali 2022 Maybank Indonesia held Maybank Marathon 2022 at Bali Safari & Marine Park on 28 August 2022, with a total of runners close to 10,000 from 50 countries this year. Maybank Marathon 2022 has named Hassan Toriss, a Moroccan runner, as the Marathon Open Male category champion and for the Marathon Open Female category by a Ugandan runner, Immaculate Chemutai. Meanwhile, Indonesian runner Rikki Marthin Luther Simbolon won the Marathon National Male category, and Odekta Elvina Naibaho won the Marathon National Female category. This year's Maybank Marathon also included more than 40 wheelchair athletes in Bali to join the 5K category, providing an opportunity for disabled run athletes to participate in the race.
Before the race, Maybank Indonesia also held 12 weeks of pre-race training, 'Road to Maybank Marathon 2022'. This training program was participated by runners and running communities in major cities in Indonesia, namely Medan, Bandung, Surabaya, Makassar, and Bali, as well as in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Maybank Sustainability Day 2022 Maybank Indonesia and the Maybank Group held Sustainability Day in conjunction with the Maybank Marathon 2022 event in Bali. The Sustainability Day was the first event held by the Maybank Group and Maybank Indonesia and aimed to raise awareness and encourage sustainable practices among Maybank Marathon runners and partners and provide support for Balinese residences that were affected by the pandemic. The event demonstrated Maybank Group's focus on becoming a leader in the region's ESG (environmental, social, governance) by 2025, in line with the Maybank Group's Sustainability Framework and the mission of "Humanising Financial Services".
ASEAN Day 2022 Maybank Indonesia and Maybank Foundation participated as partners in the 55th ASEAN Day event which was held at the ASEAN Secretariat on 8 August 2022. Maybank participated in 3 (three) events: (1) AMS (ASEAN Maybank Scholarship) handover ceremony that was witnessed by Indonesia Foreign Affair Minister and ASEAN Ambassador & Country Permanent Representatives, (2) Maybank Women Eco-Weavers book launching, and (3) artwork handover ceremony. Maybank also exhibited looms and weaving collections from the Maybank Women Eco Weavers program.
Global Money Week (GMW) Maybank Indonesia held Global Money Week (GMW), an annual global awareness-raising campaign regarding the importance of young people, especially participants in the internship program at Maybank Indonesia, to have financial awareness from an early age and gradually acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors to make wise financial decisions and ultimately achieve financial well-being and resilience. This activity was attended by 21 participants.
Orphanage Visit and Donation for Orphans & Dhuafa In the holy month of Ramadan 2022, even though during the COVID-19 pandemic, Maybank Indonesia still wanted to keep in touch with orphans and dhuafa by donating stationery packages and breaking food packages for 310 beneficiaries from 5 orphanages, namely the Bangun Kecerdasan Bangsa Foundation (Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta), Bina Ummat Foundation (Ciledug, South Jakarta), Rahmani Fikriyyah Foundation (Tebet, South Jakarta), Daarul Berkah Rahman (Jagakarsa, South Jakarta) and PAAW Foundation (South Tangerang). This activity has been conducted from 23-26 April 2022 with due observance of the health protocols that have been established by the government.
Support for “Ramadhan For Peace” activities with Wahid Foundation Maybank Indonesia supported the activity initiated by the Wahid Foundation entitled "Ramadan for Peace #WahidUntukSemua“. This activity aims to help economic recovery during the pandemic by specifically targeting women's groups in Depok and Bogor on 27 – 29 April 2022. This program is an annual program organized by the Wahid Foundation. Since 2013, regularly every Ramadhan the Wahid Foundation holds activities together with groups of women, orphans, poor people, and marginalized groups. Maybank Indonesia supported for 100 families.
Maybank Indonesia Inaugurates Bandar Lampung and Surabaya Branch Office Bank Maybank Indonesia held grand opening ceremonies to inaugurate its relocated branch office in Bandar Lampung, South Sumatera and Surabaya, East Java. Both branches in Bandar Lampung and Surabaya have taken up heritage buildings with an art deco style, built in the 1940s. Maybank Indonesia added an extension building with a contemporary minimalist style in its Lampung branch to serve various customers, while the Surabaya branch added a modern indoor structure. Maybank Indonesia's President Director Taswin Zakaria expects both branch offices to provide better customer experience and financial solutions suited to every customer's needs in Bandar Lampung and Surabaya, in line with Bank's mission, Humanising Financial Services.
Maybank Indonesia's sharia business unit held Festival Masjid Berkah and Maybank Syariah Isyefpreneur Entrepreneurship Competition. Maybank Indonesia's Shariah banking launched an entrepreneurship competition, namely, 'Festival Mesjid Berkah and Maybank Syariah Isyefpreneur Entrepreneurship Competition'. The competition was launched to the public through online platform and participated by communities from Shariah banking's partner mosques across Indonesia and a community of young entrepreneurs and the general public. After the launch, a webinar was held and presented the topic of "Mosque-Based Entrepreneurship as a Solution to Improve Local Economy".

27 Jan 2022 - Maybank Singapore launched three new digital banking initiatives to support the Bank’s strategic themes of being at the forefront of personal financial management and building a robust eco-system for small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs), giving banking convenience to its retail and business banking customers.
The new virtual banking initiatives were namely a new lifestyle and payments app - Maybank2u SG (Lite) with e-angbao gifting and other money management features, the launch of online current account opening for SMEs, as well as allowing Maybank Malaysia customers to open a Singapore dollar savings account with Maybank Singapore online to facilitate real-time funds transfers.
In addition, the Maybank2u Online Banking platform has been revamped with a new user-friendly design that is mobile responsive for optimised viewing. Maybank Singapore has also launched a QR log-in feature and Secure2u digital banking token. To search for a particular transaction in the history of any current / savings accounts or credit cards, customers may use the “Keyword Search” function to find the information they want.
25 March 2022 - Maybank Singapore’s “Walk for Humanity” virtual charity walk - held from 20 February to 20 March 2022, raised about S$265,000 to date, including a S$200,000 donation by Maybank to support Singapore Red Cross (SRC) local and regional humanitarian efforts.
Members of the public were encouraged to clock steps as the Bank pledged to donate S$10 for every kilometer (km) clocked by participants, capped at S$150,000 for communities affected by the floods in Malaysia and Typhoon Rai in the Philippines. The public could also support the SRC’s local various programmes for the elderly living on their own – helping them with befriending and wellness; transportation to healthcare; and home safety service, through the Giving.sg portal until 31 March 2022.
Over 4,500 walkers and about 400 donors answered the call to do good for humanity. The initial target distance of 15,000 km was achieved within a week of the event. At the end of the virtual charity walk, the participants clocked an impressive total of 230,100km.
11 June 2022 - Maybank Islamic sponsored brand new laptops worth S$92,000 to Yayasan MENDAKI (“MENDAKI”) to benefit 60 students from low-income families. This donation marked a closer partnership between Maybank Islamic and MENDAKI to provide more support to Malay/Muslim students from low-income families.
The laptop donation is funded by Maybank Islamic’s “Ikhwan Credit Card Charity Fund”, where the bank contributes a percentage of customer spending on selected credit cards issued in Malaysia to charitable bodies. Under the charity element, Maybank Islamic has allocated more than RM4 million in charity funds based on total customers’ transactions since the launch of Islamic credit cards in June 2014.
19 July 2022 - Maybank Singapore officially launched the Young Entrepreneur Scheme (YES) Programme on 18 July 2022 at a seminar event on entrepreneurship. This programme seeks to help the entrepreneurial millennial generation bridge the gap between their dreams of launching a business and turning it into a reality, while answering the nation’s call to promote entrepreneurship.
The Bank observes that many new and young business owners face many challenges in starting a business. Without at least two years of business track record, it is often difficult for them to secure a bank loan for business expansion and they would have to fall back on their own savings or fund raising efforts. First-time entrepreneurs may also lack appropriate business management tools or relevant experience in running a business, as well as a business network to find peer and mentor support.
Maybank’s YES programme is a holistic solution designed to address these gaps faced by micro and small and mid-size enterprises for business owners. New clients who are operating businesses that are registered and incorporated in Singapore for less than two years, with at least one local director or co-founder under 40 years old and a minimum of 30% local shareholding by Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, are eligible to sign up for the YES programme.
03 November 2022 - Maybank Singapore organised a roundtable discussion in partnership with The Business Times themed “Asean’s Moment: Uncovering Opportunities in Disruptive Times”, the panel included Mr Gregory Seow, Head of Global Banking at Maybank Singapore amongst others. The discussion facilitated insights on the ASEAN region, amidst fears of a potential global recession setting in even as central banks raise interest rates to rein in inflation. However, panelists said that South-east Asia is expected to be relatively shielded from such concerns, thanks to its favourable demographics and the prospect of business recovery as Covid-related restrictions are lifted. The region is still poised for growth, with digitalisation, sustainability and domestic demand acting as drivers.
04 November 2022 - Maybank Singapore was conferred as a Digital for Life Champion on 4 November 2022. The award was in recognition of the efforts to promote digital inclusion and literacy amongst disadvantaged communities such as senior citizens, youths, hawkers and special needs individuals. Ms Helena Ooi, Head of Strategy, presented the SGD120,000 donation to the Digital for Life Fund and received the award from Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister for Communications and Information.
17 November 2022 - Maybank Singapore Golf Day Event was held on 17 November 2022, the first in-person golf event post-COVID - held at the Sentosa Golf Club. Celebrating a mutual passion for golf, the event saw a mix of valued partners and clients networking with Maybank senior management at Sentosa Golf Club. Among the golfers bonding and catching up over golf was Datuk Karunakaran, Chairman of Maybank Singapore. 22 November – 25 November 2022 - Customer Experience Management (CEM) ran the SMILE campaign to encourage staff and customers to send compliments for staff. For every SMILE note received, Maybank Singapore would donate S$5 to MINDS, a charity supporting persons with intellectual disabilities. In addition, to celebrate the festivities, Maybank Singapore branches also gave out cookies made by MIDS to customers to spread festive delight.
24 November 2022 - Maybank Singapore received a token of appreciation at The Majurity Night event on 24 November 2022, from Senior Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam. The Maybank Momentum Grant has supported 12 charities to-date, impacting over 10,991 beneficiaries across various causes including disability, mental health, and low-income households.

Championing Financial Literacy in Cambodia 27 May 2022 – In collaboration with National Bank of Cambodia and Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Maybank Cambodia continued to uplift the level of financial literacy amongst Cambodians through Maybank CashVille Kidz Programme.
Maybank concluded its sixth year programme of Maybank CashVille Kidz by encouraging and fostering deeper participation amongst the various stakeholders involved in the Financial Education field in the country through its virtual Maybank Financial Education Excellence Awards 2021, recognising the Best School, the Best Educator and the Best Student.
Accelerating Digital Offerings with QR PAY and Secure2u 02 July 2022 – Maybank launched QR PAY and Secure2u, enabling customers to experience a safer and seamless cashless payment experience. The QR PAY service adopts the KHQR, a standardisation of QR Code (EMV) created by the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) for retail payments and transfers across banks, financial institutions and payment service providers within Cambodia.
Through the integration with the national KHQR, Maybank2u KH users can now instantly pay for products and services on-the-go at various merchants by either scanning KHQR on their mobile app or the KHQR standees provided by merchants. This service is extended to all KHQR generated by participating banks of Bakong.
Maybank has also introduced the Secure2u function to enhance online banking security for customers. Secure2u pairs the users’ device with their Maybank2u accounts, which adds an extra level of security as all transactions performed can only be authorised using the registered device.
Maybank and CGCC organise capacity building and capability workshops for some 100 SMEs in Cambodia Maybank Cambodia in collaboration with the Credit Guarantee Corporation Cambodia (CGCC) organised two workshops held in September and November 2022 in efforts to strengthen the capacity and capabilities of some 100 SMEs and financial advisors by providing business insights and knowledge as well as new skills, techniques and technologies to improve their business operations.
The SME Building Capacity & Capability workshops, which were held at the Maybank Tower, provided a platform for networking, giving SMEs in attendance opportunities to connect with like-minded peers across industries to develop new insights into building and strengthening their business.
Maybank Cambodia enhances its strategic network with opening of a new branch at Saensokh District 08 December 2022-Maybank Cambodia has enhanced its strategic network with the relocation of an existing branch to a new location in Cambodia offering customers with a full spectrum of banking products and services with greater banking facilities.
The new branch will be Maybank’s latest addition in the emerging business district of Phnom Penh with remarkable development of infrastructure, construction and trade activities in the past few years and will aim to serve the community in this district.
The event was inaugurated by H.E. Rath Sovannarak, Assistant Governor and Director General of Banking Supervision of National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) and H.E Datuk Eldeen Husaini, Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia. In addition, Maybank Group President & CEO Dato’ Khairussaleh Ramli, Michael Foong, CEO International of Maybank, Anthony Brent Elam, Chairman of Maybank Cambodia, Maybank Cambodia Board of Directors and senior management team, business partners and customers were also present at the opening.
During the launch, Maybank also showcased ALL#ForYou, a sharing of the Bank’s efforts in Bridging Communities to Opportunities & Sustainability through its various sustainability initiatives to the attendees. This includes extending its corporate merchandises made out of silk and cotton products, produced by weavers trained under the Maybank Women Eco-Weavers programme, hosting an award ceremony for Maybank Cambodia Scholarship programme as well as a Solar Panel hand-over ceremony to People Improvement Organization (PIO).
