It was a memorable send-off for outgoing Group President & CEO of Maybank, Dato’ Sri Abdul Farid Alias as he signed off today, 29th April 2022, on his last working day with the Group after helming it for almost nine years.
Over 100 Maybankers across the various sectors of the Bank gathered at the lobby of Menara Maybank, with social distancing measures in place, to bid Dato’ Sri Farid farewell and capture some last group shots as he did a final lap around the banking hall and lobby area.
He then made his way down the escalator to the GM carpark of Menara Maybank, where he was greeted by his senior leadership team who individually bid him farewell. It was a poignant and emotional send-off as Maybankers watched Dato’ Sri Farid give a final wave goodbye, before getting into his car.
