KUALA LUMPUR, 5 AUGUST 2021: Maybank Islamic Berhad recently introduced a digital solution to its customers who want to open a new Zest-i investment account through Maybank2U digital platform.

The Zest-i account which was launched two years ago and was the first investment account within the Maybank Group that has a special all-year prize draw feature with the objective to provide better benefits and unique value to customers.

This year, Zest-i customers have the opportunity to win attractive prizes with a total value of almost RM2 million.

The digital solution makes it easier and convenient for customers to open the account from anywhere, especially in view of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement, Maybank Islamic said the Bank remains committed to improving the quality and access of banking services to customers in line with digital developments and to reduce face-to-face interactions across Maybank branch counters to help curb the spread of Corona virus.

The process of opening a Zest-i account through Maybank2u is easier, faster and smoother in line with the Maybank Group's mission to humanize financial services by making banking facilities accessible to all customers.

The Zest-i Account is open to all new and existing Maybank Islamic customers including Individual Account, Joint Accounts and In-trust Account holders. This Zest-i account is also eligible to be applied for by foreigners who possess a valid working or student permit.
This year, Maybank Islamic will be giving away attractive prizes throughout the year to lucky customers such as MacBook Air, iPhone 12, Proton X50, cash rewards, 10 gram and 30 gram of gold investment as well as the main prize of 1kg gold investment through Maybank Islamic Gold Account (MIGA-i).

To participate, customers will have to open a Zest-i investment account online with a minimum of RM50. Subsequent investments will be a minimum of RM200 for their eligibility to win the monthly prizes, RM300 for the quarterly prizes and RM400 for the half-yearly prizes as well as RM500 for the grand prize draw.

The contest lucky draw mechanic is based on the number of entries earned under those four categories. Therefore, the more customers invest, the higher their chances of winning attractive prizes.
