Kim Eng Vietnam Securities Joint Stock Company was successfully rebranded as Maybank Kim Eng Securities Joint Stock Company on its relaunch on 27 September 2012.

Following the State Securities Commission (SSC) of Vietnam's approval on 3 Jan 2014, we became a Single Member Limited Liability Company, with Maybank Kim Eng being the first 100% foreign-owned securities firm in Vietnam. We were subsequently renamed Maybank Kim Eng Securities Limited.

Maybank Kim Eng has continued to make immense headway in the growing Vietnam market. In February 2014, we received recognition from the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange for being one of the top 10 brokerage houses in Vietnam by market share, a testament to our continuous efforts to engage the Vietnam market. Since last year, we have been working with Vietnam's State Securities Commission (SSC) to develop joint initiatives to strengthen Vietnam's securities market.

We have numerous accolades under our belt. We were named "Best Retail Broker" by Alpha Southeast Asia from 2013-2021. We were the winner of the prestigious Golden Dragon Award from 2011-2019, and again in 2021. We have been voted one of the country's "Most Trusted Brands" by the Vietnam Economic Times in 2009, 2010 and from 2012-2020.

Our strength in investment banking has also been recognised across the industry. The USD1.35 billion IPO of Vinhomes in 2018 won "Best IPO" by The Asset Triple A and "Best IPO" by Finance Asia.
