Hud is responsible for the oversight on Maybank IBG's International countries, covering Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, India, Hong Kong, India, US and UK. As part of his role, he is responsible for driving the overall P&L of the International countries both from a management and statutory standpoint. Hud also contributes to the strategic development of the respective markets in terms of driving the sustainability strategy, development of new business or new business opportunities, and cost optimisation.

Over his 20-year career experience, he has held various roles in Maybank within Regional Equities, CEO's Office and International Business. Hud has led a number of strategy framework implementations for Maybank IBG and was involved in various performance management, growth and restructuring initiatives. Prior to that, Hud was with KPMG in areas around strategic planning and business development.

Hud graduated from Curtin University, Australia with a BA in Commerce (Finance), and holds a certificate in Business Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and Corporate Sustainability & Future of Work from Harris Manchester College, Oxford University.
