On 4 May 2012, Maybank depatched to entitled shareholders the following documents in relation to the Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP) which applies to the final dividend for the 6-month financial period ended 31 December 2011:
• Information Memorandum (including the Dividend Reinvestment Plan Statement)
• Notice of Election (including the Dividend Reinvestment Form)
The DRP documents are also available on the Dividend Reinvestment Plan web page at www.maybank.com/drp which includes FAQs and an online DRP calculator.
Eligible shareholders who would like to participate in the DRP would have to complete and return the Dividend Reinvestment Form (DRF) to Tricor Investor Services Sdn Bhd, the Registrar for the DRP, on or before Friday, 18 May 2012 at 5.00pm.
The despatch of the documents was annnounced on Bursa Malaysia and in advertisements in the newspapers (The Star, Berita Harian and Sin Chew Jit Poh) on 4 May 2012. Copies of the adverstisements are attached below.
