Relationship Manager, Business Banking, Melaka Business Centre
KEY FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
 
  • Manage and enhance existing customer relationship Initiate regular customer site visit / follow-up to establish better rapport.
  • Attend to customer requests and appeals on credit related matters within the SLA, and provide basic advise and service to meet customers’ needs.
  • Process credit proposals and ad-hoc requests received from customers within SLA’s standard of service; i.e. to ensure Bank’s risk parameters and guidelines are adhered to, and to aware of common shortcomings highlighted by GCM to maintain high credit standards.
  • Monitor all SMAs and keep NCNPL low; i.e.  to keep abreast of market developments and early warning signals, to take preventive action to avoid SMAs from turning NCNPL, and to restructure the facilities for viable business.
  • Market and sell the Bank's loan products to new and existing customers. This also includes cross-selling of other Bank's products and services.
  • Building closer rapport with existing customers to boost utilization and share of business / wallet.
  • Managing portfolio of existing accounts with minimal attritions.
  • Analyze, evaluate and recommend loan applications and ad-hoc requests within the Bank's risk parameters and guidelines.
  • Proactively managing the BC's assets quality.
  • Maintaining cordial work relationship with peers / other units to provide solutions to customers' banking needs.
 
ROLE REQUIREMENTS :
 
  • Minimum 2 years of credit experience and ability to understand company financial report, bank statement, profit/loss etc.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work well independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Possess good communication skills and business acumen.
  • Able to grasp in-depth knowledge of banking products and market.

  • Strategize, develop and execute effective marketing communications and events for CFS business lines, aligning it to overall Group mission, business strategies and objectives while maintaining Maybank Brand values.
  • Keep abreast of current market outlook and able to provide comprehensive SWOT analysis against the market to drive strategies.
  • Manage timely roll out of all deliverables relating to the campaign with no glitches.
  • Report performance of each campaign after rollout and its learning - pro and cons.
  • Responsible for all aspects of projects, including: meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, budgeting, campaign analysis, and tracking / monitoring procedures.

  • Preferably with 1 - 3 years of experience in digital marketing or similar role with an understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
  • Experience social media marketing, Google AdWords & Google Analytics (Certification), email campaigns and SEO/SEM.

RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Independently source new and existing SME customers, package the requirements for business loan applications.
  • Responsible for processing of loans application and submission for an approval, closely follow up on the acceptance until disbursement of loans.
  • Drive and generate fee based income from cross selling activities on Insurance and Cards.
  • Ensure cross selling of bundled product together with each of loans application.
  • Responsible and ensure processing of loan applications is within stipulated Turnaround Time (TAT).
