MY ASEAN Internship

The MY ASEAN Internship is a collaboration between the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MITI) and Talent Corporation Malaysia (TalentCorp) to increase awareness of ASEAN among youth in Malaysia.

Under the programme, Malaysian students in local universities will get the opportunity to do internships with leading employers at various ASEAN locations, while ASEAN students in Malaysian universities will be able to intern in Malaysia. MY ASEAN Internship will start in July 2015 and run for a period of 10 weeks.

The MY ASEAN Internship offers exclusive opportunities for high-achieving individuals to:

  • Develop skill sets required by leading employers through a 10-week internship
  • Participate in ASEAN-themed activities and competitions planned at the start and completion of the programme
  • Familiarise with the working culture of top employers in the region before embarking on their career
Eligibility

ASEAN Youth currently studying or who have completed their studies (less than six months) in public and private universities based in Malaysia.

Minimum cumulative CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent

MUET: Band 4 and above; IELTS : 7.0 and above; or TOEFL: 95 and above.

Students must be in their penultimate or final year; or have completed their tertiary education in less than 6 months
